That is the case right now. I feel a little bloated from our killer Mexican meal that we just consumed a little bit ago. I feel like there is this massive stomach that comes into being when Mexican is on the table. But as I typed the title to this blog I discovered a lovely little sticker in my sock. We finished the photo shoot about 3 hours ago and this little sticker must have been hiding in my sock for all that time….
Yet here I am. My goal was to write more on the midst of this trip. Here we are one more photo shoot away from being complete. It has been an epic journey. Different than most my other travels. It is great to have purpose for each location that we journey to. To have “giggs” at each spot. It does feel like we are rockstars on the road. I feel that I will travel more like this in the future….. yet the thing I like about traveling is simply being on the move and the RANDOM GOODNESS that comes up. Yesterday we shot a couple in the Rockies of Colorado. The day was probably one of the better days on the tour. Except for the part of haling the piano up a little mountain to place it on/in a waterfall. Again all for the EPICness of the shot – but man it is hard work some days. Yet the 28th of NOVEMBER was a great day.
We needed to find a couple to shoot in the Rockies. I told Clayton (http://claytonaustinlovestories.com/blog/) that I had some good friends in the area and I would try to contact them. I did, and it worked out for them to join us in this crazy piano mission that we have been on. David and his wife Juree were perfect for the the Rockies for that truly is their home. It was great to hang with an old college buddy and share in an epic day! 1. lugging the piano up to a beautiful waterfall. 2. freezing cold mountain spring water (toes seem to go numb quite quick) 3. Great Italian dinner – full of laughs. 4. catching up with an old friend. The whole day was simply great!
